A reminder with the recent rainy weather, the need to keep laptops away from the rain. Students should avoid walking around the school with their laptops open, and especially should not do so in wet weather.

Cables and cords should not be tied in knots as this can cause damage to the internal wiring and the cords could no longer work.

Coming into winter, we all like to rug up and stay toasty indoors, but our computers don’t. When charging your device during the colder winter months, please be careful not to block the vents on the sides or bases of your laptops by using them on soft surfaces such as blankets or warm clothing like Oodies. Doing so creates a potential fire hazard and risk of burns. Chargers should also never be covered by blankets or put on or near heating appliances.
