Year 8 Australian Floral Printmaking
Mouse Maze
Students had to design a maze that an imaginary mouse could run along using Isometric projection. They then had to render these three-dimensional forms.
Year 9 Photorealism
Year 10 Analogue Photography
The Year 10 Photography class have been exploring a range of traditional analogue photography techniques. The students first created a collage of their own photographs before copying it onto transparency film to create a handmade negative. The negative was then used to create a Cyanotype (blue) Print using the UV rays from the sun.
The students then developed their darkroom skills to create a photogram or rayograph. By placing a range of translucent and opaque objects onto photographic paper and exposing it to light, the students were able to create a photographic artwork that has similar characteristics to an x-ray.
The students then reused their hand made negatives to learn how to create a corrected exposed black and white photograph. The positive photograph was then hand coloured using copic markers.
