A small group of year 5/6 students have been participating in a weekly STEM group completing a project about food of the future, focussing on duckweed that the entire cohort had been growing in class.

Yesterday the STEM group were fortunate enough to attend the Kids Teaching Kids, Climate Action Conference at Edendale Farm to participate and present their findings.

They did an amazing job and the duckweed was a huge hit with everyone lining up for a taste test! One of the secondary schools in attendance was so impressed that they were keen to have our group present at their school!
