Garden Treasure Hunt

Prep SO have been on a treasure hunt yesterday. They squealed in excitement as we dug out our second bounty of red potatoes! I think we might be having more rosemary potato chips by the end of this term.

In the last two weeks, we have been harvesting and tasting our winter crop of broccoli/broccolini, snow peas and mandarins. It was great to see children who have never eaten those vegetables tasting them and actually saying they are delicious. It makes my day!

Garden Market

Friday September 8th next week, at school pickup,  our School Garden Market is on again. We'll have organic herbs, lettuce and seedlings for sale. Sorry no broccoli or snow peas - they are devoured by our students as soon as they're harvested!

BYO bags and lots of coins. Hope to see you there around 3:30 pm.

Should you have any raspberry or blueberry containers lying around, please bring them into the office.  They make packing herbs so much easier for our garden market.

Happy first day of Spring!
