Foundation 

Reminders for upcoming events in the Prep learning community. 

We would like to invite parents and guardians to our Foundation Liturgy on the 13th of September at 11.30am held in the Prep learning community space.

During the term we have been learning about the concept of Stories and the role they play in everyone's lives. We have shared stories of our own lives with each other through pictures and verbal recounts. We have listened to stories from the Old and New Testament in the Bible and discovered how Jesus used stories to explain how we can see God's love for us. 

On Friday the 8th of September we will be walking down to the river with our Grade 6 buddies to share our favourite story books. Could students please bring their favourite storybook on this day to share with their buddy?  Please make sure books are named to avoid missing or lost books. 

Congratulations to Jimmy for winning the Horsham Library storybook character colouring in competition and Violet and Jake for coming runners up. 

We are chasing some more items for our deconstructive table. If any families have any old electrical items or things that can be taken apart, that you no longer need or no longer work, please drop them off to the Prep Learning Space. Thank you.
