HOUSE MUSIC- WINNERS!!!

A massive congratulations to our house music representatives for their efforts in the esteemed inter-house music competition. It’s not all about winning, but we won, thanks to our exceptional and highly talented band members. Congratulations to Sian Lewis, Blair Salmon, Jenna McCallum (12P), Thomas Costa (10P), Alex Fisk, Keith Busbridge (9P) & Zoe Hodge-McAvaney (7P). These students are not only exceptional musicians & singers, but they are wonderful purple people. They performed two songs- ‘Still into you’ by Paramore & ‘Before he cheats’ by Carrie Underwood and the crowd was bopping and the judges were smiling with delight! What an honour is was to see our students’ passions and talents on display. 

VIKING OF THE MONTH

At each house assembly, we recognise and reward one Purple House student that has consistently demonstrated our school values and continually strived for the highest. This award is known as: ‘Viking of the month’. 

This month we have broken with tradition and awarded several students as Viking of the month…. Congratulations to all 7 members of the Purple House band; they have won a café voucher for their efforts.
