Celebrating our Gold Stars

Milly Dridan 10G, was one of 24 girls 15-17yrs Victoria wide, to be selected to represent her state in the Intermediate section at the Australian Calisthenic Federation, held in Brisbane in this year. After ten months of a gruelling training regime, her team finished 3rd place overall at the National Titles. 

Milly has also had a very successful solo season winning 10/12 of her competitions and was crowned Victorian State Champion this year. Keep up the #Goldstandard

House Music

A massive congratulations to our Gold House band, who performed in the House Music competition last Friday. Their performance of ‘Dreams’ by Fleetwood Mac and Bruno Mars ‘Locked out of heaven’ was terrific and earned them 4th place. The group led by our amazing Gold House Music Captains, Jem Duff and Bella Valdes, practiced tirelessly leading into the competition and Bella and Jem’s with the help of Blair Salmon who joined from Purple’s, ability to teach and be patient with the rest of the year 8 members was first class. A further congratulations to the following 8G band members, James Leishman, Ashwin Bharathi, Finn Hoddy, Xavier Williams, Braydn Beckwith – Smith, Will Brown, Dylan Monaghan, Lachie O’Keeffe and Ethan Wagner. Most have never played music before and your efforts to learn and give it a go was phenomenal! It definitely had nothing to do with the promise of a chip lunch if you joined the band!... The chip lunch will be honoured this Friday. #Goldstandard
