How grateful is your child?
We often hear our children talking about a particular toy, game or article that they so desperately need because their school friends all have one.
What we might really want to say:
"Let's appreciate the toys, games and articles you already have!"
But as we may know that by simply telling a child to be grateful isn't an effective way to teach them about gratitude.
Teaching gratitude requires a different approach.
The key is creating a culture of gratitude at home. One fun way to do that is by engaging in a family gratitude activity.
That's why we are thrilled to share our Gratitude Tree printable this week! Everyone, even the kids, writes what they're thankful for on the leaves, and then once the poster is complete, you display it somewhere everyone can see it.
It's a fun and creative way to foster gratitude in your family! Take a look.
