From the Houses

NAGLE HOUSE

The last night of Term 4 has finally arrived and it has been both busy and memorable. The girls have shared many experiences together throughout November /December and I have included a few photos of just some of the things we did. We welcomed our new year 7’s for a sleepover on the last Thursday in November. Our community embraced our newest boarders and were very excited to share their boarding experience.

Tessa, Ivana, Mary, Scarlett, Gabbie, Culley, Amos, Nicolas, Charles, Laclan, and Cooper all got to know their supervisors for next year Naomi and Vicki. The girls also spent time with our leaders and supervisor Nicola talking about what to expect in boarding.

Some of our Year 11 girls dressed in their finest for Cup Day at KCC. We really enjoyed sharing the fun of seeing them in their finery before they headed off to school.

Lucy’s brought in this amazing dragon that her Grandfather made  using a 3D printer.

Our artwork is finally finished and hanging in our kitchen. The girls did a brilliant job.

Some of our senior girls are all making their door name tags for next year.

Jazzabella showed us her amazing artwork as you can see she is very talented.

On the last Thursday of the term,  we headed down to Wagga Beach for a BBQ and games to celebrate the end of the year. We all enjoyed the night which was warm and dry. Evie, Ewan, Lucinda, and  Lucy are trying to get an Oreo into their mouth without touching it. This was followed by blowing up a balloon and hoping with it. All the boarders became extremely competitive which created an exciting race.

Maya,Genevieve, Phoebe and Emma are just chilling out together during the evening's celebrations.

Wagga Christmas lights are one of the highlights at the end of term. The boarders had a fantastic night seeing them all and even stopped for a group photo.

Christmas biscuit decorating, Ainsley and Ashley were very proud of their skills.

From all of us at Nagle House may we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year.

RICE HOUSE

Another fantastic year comes to an end at the Boarding House. Whilst everyone is ready for a break it is a good time to reflect on the wonderful experiences and friendships that have been made throughout 2023. We’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a lovely Christmas and a happy and safe New Year. We’ll see you all back here in 2024!
