From the Head of Boarding 

Dear Boarding Community,

Welcome to the final edition of Boarders' Buzz for 2023 - the Christmas Edition.

The year has come and gone so quickly and Term 4 has proven once again to be a busy one culminating in the HSC Exams and the farewelling of the MEBS Seniors for 2022/23 amongst many other events.

The MEBS Sleepover/ Orientation for our new Year 7 students took place on Thursday 30 November. We welcome our new Year 7's and look forward to working with them next year. I was very proud of our new student leaders who were instrumental in welcoming the new families and supporting the new boys and girls in settling into a new environment. 

MEBS Wagga Beach Christmas Dinner and activities were fantastic. many thanks to our Activities Officer, Mr. Jody Siegwalt , our Boarding Staff, Boarding Leaders, and the Boarders for a fantastic, fun evening. (See more pics in the Activities section.

The Boarders also participated in the Annual Wagga Lights Tours which always proves to be popular. 

And, we are so proud our Boarders, their parents and the MEBS Community who supported the CareSouth Charity initiative devised by the Boarder Sudent Leaders. Excellent effort! And thank you to the Boarders and their communities,

We farewell MEBS Boarders as they leave on a new journey as part of their secondary schooling. I would like to thank the following boarders for their contribution to Mount Erin Boarding and wish them well for the future:

2024 Term 1 Boarding Return Dates

Please see the following dates and times of return for Term 1 2024

Tuesday, January 30: 

New Year 7 Boarders can arrive from 4.00 pm (Dinner at 6.00 pm)

New KCC Year 8 - 11 Boarders can arrive from 4.00 pm (Dinner at 6.00 pm)

Year 12 Boarders can arrive from 4.00 pm (Dinner at 6.00 pm)

(If driving please ensure Driver Approval has been completed and approved before arriving on campus)

(Note: Boarding Staff involved in professional development until 4.00 pm)

Wednesday, January 31      

Year 7 and 12 students begin school 

New KCC Year 8 - 11 Kildare students - Orientation   9.00 am to 11.00 am

                                     - Return to Boarding for Lunch/ Activities

Boarding is open for all other Boarders to return from 4.00 pm

Dinner at 6.00 pm

Thursday February 1       

Boarding is open from 8.00 am for bag drop.

All students at school

Boarding opens from 3.20 pm 

Friday February 2

All students at school

Weekend Leave

Boarding Closes from 4.00 pm
