From the Principal

Congratulations to everyone on reaching the end of the school year! Who would have thought that the time would go so fast?

On a personal note, I would like to thank the LCS community, for giving me such a warm welcome in my first year. I have felt genuinely supported, encouraged and prayed for, and with the support of the Leadership Team, I believe we have started our time together well.

To students, teachers, staff and parents - your hard work, dedication, and partnership have been deeply appreciated.  Together we have encouraged each other towards excellence and a supportive and inspiring community centred around Christ. Your collective efforts have not only contributed to individual success but have also strengthened the bonds that make our community so special. We could not do this without you.

As you reflect on the year past, take a moment to remember the lessons we have learned through unity and connectedness.

Psalm 133:1 says “Behold, how good and pleasant it is when God’s people dwell together in unity!”

God’s plan is for us to live in a relationship of harmony with each other, and it is encouraging to reach the end of the year and to feel this has been LCS’ experience in 2023. We have unquestionably felt God’s richest blessing.

My prayer as we head into the holiday break is that God continues to lead and guide you. That you find time to connect and grow in relationship with God, your family and your friends. That you enjoy the warmer weather and are kept safe.

I wish you all a well-deserved and restful break and look forward to what is in store for us in 2024!

Blessings

Stuart Kent
