Carols on the Meadow

Reflecting on the enchanting evening of Carols on the Meadow last Friday, we can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of pride and joy. The rain graciously held off until the very last note, adding an extra touch of magic to the festivities. Families and friends gathered in the meadow, creating a heartwarming atmosphere that perfectly complemented the student performances.

The orchestra and string ensemble set the tone with a captivating display of high-quality finesse and class, while the bands infused infectious energy, with players thoroughly enjoying every moment. Our soloists were flawlessly arresting, with a special applause for those who bravely sang in front of a crowd for the first time, exhibiting the poise of seasoned professionals.

A particularly heartwarming aspect was the participation of our Chev families in three family acts, showcasing their incredible talents. The dance ensemble, despite a short rehearsal time, shared a joyful Christmas story, thanks to Ella's energy, artistic prowess, and drive. Special mentions go to Ben and Angus, whose professionalism and polish complemented every song.

Behind the scenes, our CAPA Captains, promotions team, and the entire CAPALoT team worked tirelessly to ensure a seamless event, from coordinating food trucks to providing professional staging. Emma and Darcy, who set the stage all day, demonstrated exceptional leadership and organizational skills.

To sum it up, Carols on the Meadow was an extraordinary night, talked about and remembered by our Chev families. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, making it a night to remember. Your dedication and hard work are truly appreciated.

Back to Chev Weekend

Late November, we had the pleasure of hosting Chevalier Past Students for our annual Back to Chev Weekend. Led by President Mike Wolf and the dedicated committee members, along with Chevalier College staff, we took a nostalgic tour down memory lane.

The highlight of the afternoon was a captivating presentation by past student Dr. Andrew Browning AM, who shared his incredible journey as an obstetrician-gynaecologist and humanitarian in Africa. Dr Browning was also awarded the Esprit Du Chevalier "Spirit of the Knight", in recognition of his embodiment of the MSC ethos and spirit.

The day concluded with a delightful cocktail reception and an exclusive preview of the college draft masterplan.

Twilight Tours

Despite the patchy weather, we had our largest attendance ever at Twilight Tours this November. It was a pleasure to host prospective families and bring our campus to life, highlighting the tremendous opportunities at Chev.
