Building a passion for continuous improvement and learning...
As a school with a 138 year history we are committed to an agenda of continuous learning and improvement. An element of that is the work our academic and pastoral teams do linked to data we gather. We like to dive into data sets and use thinking routines and strategies (from Harvard no less) to build to ensure the academic and pastoral understanding is enhanced for each of your daughters - we entitle this process Academic Enhancement Planning.
One area of continued dedication and commitment has been Mathematics. We see it as our duty as a girls school to build a love and engagement in the area of Mathematics to ensure your daughters horizons are broad.
It is my great honour to commend to our Year 1 to Year 6 parents a webinar entitled “How Do We Teach Mathematics?”. Our Director of Curriculum will share her insights and passion for Mathematics at this one hour webinar. We hope to see many of you online from 9am to 10am on Friday 17 May, 2024. Please see invitation below:

Kambala Walk Safely to School Day - Friday 17 May, 2024 - 7.30 - 9.00am
We are excited to promote with families and girls the Kambala Walk Safely to School Day on Friday 17 May, 2024.
As I see Bayview Hill Road and Tivoli Avenue heaving at times (particularly before school) under the volume of cars I would like to commend to girls and their families this initiative.
Prep to Year 6 girls will be able to come to school in their PE uniform on Friday 17 May 2024.
If your daughter has a representative event on that day - for example, IPSHA Debating, please pack her Winter uniform in her Sports bag.
School Readiness Webinar for Parents of Preparation 2025 girls - Tuesday 18 June, 2024 - 9.00 - 10.00am
Parents of students joining Preparation in 2025 are also warmly invited to our webinar on School Readiness. Mrs Alex Panagopoulos will partner with Active OT (occupational therapists) and Speech Therapists.
