Grandparents Morning & Morning Tea

It was a beautiful morning for our visitors on Tuesday 14 May.  Grandparents were welcomed into classrooms across the school, where they could share their own stories of their time as Primary School students and hear the stories of their grandchildren in turn. Students interviewed their grandparents about their lives, introduced them to their friends and teachers, and took great pride in showing off all that they had accomplished so far in 2024. 

The Morning Tea was filled with gentle conversation and happy laughter.

A very warm thank you to all those who could come to Weeden Heights, and to all the students of Weeden who kindly greeted our extended community members.
