Tanjil Valley Art Show

This week the Tanjil Valley Art show has been setting up and getting ready for judging.  It’s set to be a bumper show this year with over 150 school and youth entries on display alongside a record number of adult entries.

The show opens to the public on Saturday 8th June and runs through to Monday 10th June with the doors being open from 10-4pm daily. The cost of entry is a gold coin donation, with multiple raffles and food available for purchase over the event. The Art Show is a non-profit event which supports the local community of Willow Grove, Hill End, and surrounds (Tanjil Valley). With the funds raised over the weekend from art sales, food, raffles, and donations going back to local Primary schools like our own, as well as organisations within our community, including the CFA and Landcare.

This year our school has close to 50 entries with some amazing talent on display. The art show is one of our schools’ major showcases of student artwork for the year and all involved should be extremely proud of their efforts. I look forward to seeing you and your families at the art show over the weekend in support of our amazing young artists.
