What's on @ the Kaadadjiny Hub?

Come into the Hub to see our latest 'alive and growing' display highlighting the important dates on the Aboriginal calendar. We start on May 26 with Sorry Day, a day to commemorate and acknowledge the Stolen Generations.

National Reconciliation Week, a time for all of us to learn about our shared histories and explore how each of us can continue to achieving reconciliation in Australia. Mabo Day, a National Day of Recognition for Torres Strait Islander, Dr Eddie Mabo and NAIDOC Week, a national celebration to recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We hope the display helps our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students feel safe and accepted as valued members of the Salvado Catholic College community, as we aim to promote understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal culture, while fostering empathy, respect and tolerance.
