LOTE Week

Our annual LOTE week this year was an amazing success! We started the week with our greatly anticipated Hawker’s Market. Students had the opportunity to sample over 30 delicious dishes inspired by cultures from all over the globe. 

On Tuesday students experienced some French cinema as we watched a film inspired by the late French fashion designer Coco Chanel. Wednesday we had a number of songs at our Open Mic, including works from the Philippines, China, France, and others. Thursday was a combination of Henna Art and a number of mini-challenges that tested our students’ knowledge of cultural trivia.  

And of course Friday was our most popular event, cultural dress day. Students and staff dressed in traditional attire reflective of their respective cultural backgrounds and enjoyed cultural dance performances in the Auditorium. 

All in all, a fantastic week to wrap up an incredibly busy and exciting term! A huge thank you to students and LOTE staff for all their hard work in organising this event.
