ATAR Exams and Semester One Assessments

Congratulations to everyone for completing their ATAR exams and end of Semester One assessments.  Our staff are working around the clock to ensure they are all marked and back to you within the two-week marking window.  They are also busy writing your end of semester reports which will be available at the end of term. Semester Two has officially commenced!

Classroom Reminders:

  1. Be prepared for your lesson - make sure you have all of your writing equipment, notes and laptop charged ready for the start of the day. This is your responsibility: we have no pens, rulers or pencils left in the Class office to lend out.
  2. Correct uniform - please refer to the uniform requirements for Class in the College Handbook.  Uniform notes are being issued for non-compliance.

Plant Productions Systems General - Year 12

At the beginning of the year, we started a pumpkin growing competition to determine who can grow the biggest pumpkin. We haven’t had a great success rate with the pumpkins thus far, however we were excited to see our first pumpkin pop up this week. Max and Jadd have taken the lead closely followed by Jai and Rylan.

The Year 12 Plant Production Systems classes have been busy planting their seed depth trials. In class we are looking at optimal growing environments for plants to maximise yield and profit, with seed depth being the main focus. With the crops beginning to germinate, we will be taking our first crop height recording next week. Some much-needed rain fell at the school this afternoon, giving the watering cans a well-deserved break.
