iCreate – Landscape Design and Architecture
The students in iCreate - Landscape, Design and Architecture have been very busy this term working on the Anthony Breslin Project, containing over 50 pieces of frogs, bugs and water drops. The bug and frog designs have been handcrafted by the artist himself, and our Westall students decorating for months on end! The students have worked on decorating each cut out individually with patterns, textures, shapes, colours and intricate linework. Critical and creative thinking, as well as problem solving has been key to bringing these large and small whimsical characters to life!
The large installation is yet to be installed, the plan is late Term 3 or early Term 4. An install crew will be responsible for securing each piece to cedar posts, and then concreted into the ground outside our new Senior Learning Centre. Watch this space!
