Parents and Friends

Welcome Back to Term 2!
We hope everyone enjoyed a restful and refreshing break with their families. As we step into Term 2, we are filled with excitement for the busy and vibrant months ahead.
At the start of the holidays, our Year 12 mums kicked off their break with a fabulous weekend away in Bowral. Around 50 women took the time to relax, unwind, and enjoy each other’s company. They indulged in delicious food and wine at Bendooley Estate, before heading to Park Proxi for a fun evening of dinner, cocktails, trivia, and music. It was truly a wonderful weekend where new friendships were formed, and old ones were rekindled. A huge thank you to Caroline Chahin and Nina Habib for organising this enjoyable and worthwhile experience!
Looking ahead, Term 2 is shaping up to be an exciting one! We are starting strong with our Mother’s Day celebrations, Supporters’ Day Barbeques, and, of course, the legendary Blue, Black and Gold Dinner. There is plenty happening, so be sure to read the Especean each week to stay up to date with all the latest news and important information.
Welcome back once again — we can’t wait to see what this term holds!
Year 12 Mother’s Day Luncheon Invitation
We warmly invite all Year 12 mothers to join us for our special Mother’s Day Lunch — a beautiful way to celebrate this occasion with the amazing Year 12 mums of SPC. Click the link below to purchase your tickets — we look forward to seeing you there!
Volunteers Needed: Annual Rose Wrapping Tradition
We are also seeking volunteers to join us in the much-loved annual festivity of wrapping the roses! This event will be held at Rosehill Racecourse on Thursday 8 May at 10:00 AM, and we expect to finish by 12:00 noon. It’s a wonderful tradition — a fun, relaxed morning and a great opportunity to meet and connect with other SPC mothers. If you can spare the time, please contact the committee on Parentsandfriends@spc.nsw.edu.au.
We would love to see you there!
Final Call: BBG Dinner Tickets
Finally, we are now entering the last three days to purchase your tickets for the Blue, Black and Gold Dinner. There will be no further opportunities to buy tickets after Friday of this week. Come and join us for what promises to be an unforgettable, fun evening with fellow SPC parents/carers — we can't wait to celebrate with you!
