NUMERACY

The Preps have have done an incredible job so far this year with their learning during maths. Students have learnt to count, subitise and sequence and have developed their ability to write numbers really well! We've begun using ten frames and have been comparing collections using the words 'less', 'more' and 'the same'.

This term, we'll be continuing our understanding of numbers by learning to count on, learning about place value, a variety of addition strategies and about the number 0. Later in the term we'll also learn about length and capacity.
