What a difference a Term makes in our Foundation area. 

Even after a three-week break the students have settled back into the routine so well. Their familiarity with the classroom and school has enabled everyone to jump right back into some great learning.  

This term, our literacy focus will include learning more letters and sounds, practising writing simple sentences, and developing early reading strategies. 

In numeracy, we’ll continue to build number knowledge, introduce basic addition, and explore measurement and data through hands-on activities.

We have sent home new reading diaries for Term Two – thanks again for the continued support at home with our literacy learning at school.

A reminder about this Friday 9th being the Mother’s Day breakfast and Liturgy along with a special morning in the Foundation area for Foundation students and their mother/special person.
