If your child achieves something special (grand final win, most valuable player award, best and fairest etc.), please email me (jordan.daley@education.vic.gov.au) through photos and an overview of the achievement to post in Contact. It is important to celebrate and recognise such successes with the school community.
COLLINGWOOD FC PLAYER APPEARANCE
Greenhills PS were lucky enough to have Darcy Cameron, Beau McCreary, and Jack Crisp from Collingwood FC visit on Tuesday.
Their visit included a Q&A session hosted by our Sport and House Captains, where we learnt about life as professional athletes and the values and qualities that helped them succeed.
This visit also ties in perfectly with the Bring a Friend session being run by our local Auskick and Superkick Centres this week. Check out the attached flyer for more information.

Please collect your child before or after recess and lunch times as they may not hear the announcements during these times.
CAMPS, SPORTS, EXCURSION FUND (CSEF)
School camps provide children with inspiring experiences in the great outdoors. Excursions encourage a deeper understanding of how the world works while sports teach teamwork, discipline and leadership. All are a part of a healthy curriculum. CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.
If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families. The allowance is paid to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions or sporting activities for the benefit of your child.
The annual CSEF amount per primary school student is $154.
If you received CSEF in 2024 you do not need to apply again, however if you are new to Greenhills and have a valid concession card or have an additional child (eg Prep) that commenced, please complete the attached form (available from the office too) and hand into the office with a copy of your concession card.
