Principals' Message

Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to Week 4! We would like to thank our students, staff and wider school community for the enthusiasm and support shown throughout the term so far. It has been wonderful to see students engaged in their learning, participating in school activities, and demonstrating our Living Well, Learning Well values each day.
Mother's Day
We would like to extend our warmest wishes to all the mothers, grandmothers, aunties and mother figures who play such an important role in our lives. We hope you all had a beautiful Mother's Day yesterday, surrounded by your families and loved ones. Thank you for the care, support and positive impact you have on the lives of your families every day.
In celebration of this important event our school is hosted its annual Mother's Day Liturgy and morning tea last Friday. This beloved tradition was an opportunity for us to come together as a community, celebrate school life and show our appreciation for the incredible mothers in our midst. The day was truly special, and a beautiful time was had by all families in attendance.
A special shout out to all the wonderful St Joseph's staff who are mothers — we hope your Mother’s Day yesterday was extra special and filled with love, laughter and cherished family time.
Celebrating Attendance
We would like to sincerely thank all our parents and students for the fantastic start to the year and the strong commitment shown towards school attendance. To date, St Joseph's has an attendance rate of 94% and an attendance level of 80%. These results reflect the strong commitment of our families to prioritising education.
Regular attendance plays an important role in student success. When students attend school every day, they are able to build on their learning from the previous day, while also developing strong friendships, building confidence, and establishing routines that help them thrive.
May God bless you and your family.
