Principal’s Message

Dear Parents and Carers,
The recent rain might have kept the kids indoors for recess a bit more than usual, but we know how much our local farmers and gardens needed it, so we aren't complaining!
The wet weather hasn't slowed us down here at school, either. The classrooms have been busy, and the students have done a fantastic job staying focused on their learning.
St Carlo Acutis Exhibition
A Meaningful Faith Experience for Our Students
Our students recently had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Blessed Carlo Acutis Exhibition at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall. They explored the inspiring exhibit and were privileged to view a First Class Relic of Saint Carlo, learning all about his incredible life, faith, and deep devotion to the Eucharist.
The experience concluded with a beautiful time of prayer and reflection during Adoration at Sacred Heart Church. It was wonderful to be able to share this experience with members of the Parish.
Catholic Schools Week Mass
A Future filled with Hope
On Thursday 28th May, staff and students joined others from the northern deanery to celebrate Catholic Schools Week 2026 with a special Mass led by Bishop Murphy. The theme for this year was A Hope-Filled Future, and it was wonderful to see our students gathered together as part of a much bigger church family, looking forward to the future with faith and confidence.
Looking ahead towards the rest of the term, we have a busy and exciting few weeks coming up! Our calendar is full of important events, including Semester Reports, our annual Athletics Carnival, Enrolment Interviews, and the Sacrament of First Eucharist, just to name a few.
More details on all of these will be heading your way soon, but in the meantime, please don't hesitate to contact your child's teacher if you have any questions or concerns.
Warm regards,
Leanne Herden
Principal
