Monash Waverley Division Girls Softball Competition

After a successful season of Term 1 Summer sport, our WHPS girls softball team qualified to compete again at Division level. On Tuesday October 14th, Mr Stewart met the team down at our local Waverley Softball Centre within Jells Park. The day consisted of a round robin style format with 4 matches played by our girls.

Match 1       WHPS won over Glen Waverley PS - 12 – 2 runs

Match  2      WHPS won 1over Brandon Park PS- 16 – 7 runs

Match 3       Semi Final  WHPS won 19 - 9

Match 4       Final  HPS won 24 - 17 

Congratulations to this successful girls softball team. It was a great team effort- with special mentions to the two main pitchers, Naomi and Evie, as well as the team catcher, Arundi. What a remarkable achievement girls!
