The Year 4, 5 and 6 Literature Sleuths students participated in their debate yesterday. As the adjudicator it was with immense pride that I got to listen to some very powerful presentations and speeches. Our students continue to impress.
Year 4 Debate topic: Global warming directly increases the frequency and severity of bushfires.
Year 5 Debate topic: Multiculturalism has made our society less racist in Australia
Year 6 Debate topic: The effect of World War Two was far greater on humanity than the global pandemic.

Last night Ms Fullerton and I were invited to the 2025 Sir John Monash Awards hosted by the City of Monash. Last year we were honoured to receive the Sustainability Leadership award and particularly humbled to receive the overall award of the Sir John Monash Award for Outstanding Leadership. As the previous winners, last night we were invited onto the stage to present the award to this year’s winners.
It has been a wonderful honour for our school to be the recipients of this award nd to celebrate the work we have done in the field of Sustainability for our school. A big thank you to all who have and who continue to support us.
