Monash Waverley Division Girls Volleyball Competition

After a successful season of Term 1 Summer sport, our WHPS girls volleyball team also qualified to compete at Division level. On Wednesday October 15th, Mrs Jansen met the team at a sports centre called The Nets, located in Kilsyth. The day consisted of a round robin style format with 3 matches played by our girls.

Match 1       MT View Vs WHPS – 2 sets to nil (lost)

Match  2      WHPS Vs Mount Waverley - 2 sets to nil (lost)

Match 3       Wheelers Hill Vs Mulgrave PS - 2 sets to nil (lost)

Unfortunatetly the volleyball girls discovered the competition were very, very strong, and they didn’t manage to win any of their matches. The girls got to see and to learn from some highly skilled players during their games.
