Religious Education News

October is a wonderful month and the start of term 4. The weather is warmer and the days are getting longer.  October is also the month of the rosary, a prayer for Mary, that is thoughtful and contemplative and prayed for specific intentions.

Each week in October, Holy Family School will come together to pray a decade of the rosary.  A decade of the rosary is saying one Our Father, ten Hail Mary’s and one Glory Be.

Each decade focuses on a specific mystery and is a powerful prayer that the faithful recite.

You might have some rosary beads at home that your child could bring to school

and use them to pray.

At Holy Family School, each class has the opportunity to attend parish mass once a term on Fridays. The students enjoy this special time to be in God’s house and pray with the community.  The schedule for this term is as follows. Please note there might be changes.
