Mountain Biking
Recently, three Park Ridge students participated in the final rounds of the AusCycling Victorian Mountain Bike School Series. This is a 7 Race Series that is run under the School Sports Victoria Banner. The series is held from May – September each year and each round is held at a different location all around the state, one of which being Lysterfield Park, with the final two rounds being held at Bendigo last weekend in wet and muddy conditions.
The points of the series were tallied up and the results for the Park Ridge students were as follows:
Harry B – 2nd place in the Under 9 Boys.
Sophia K – 1st place in the Under 11 Girls.
Robbie K – 8th place in the Under 13 Boys.
Congratulations to these students for their amazing achievements! If your child is interested in participating next year, registrations are completed through the SSV website. Feel free to reach out to Mr Davey if you’d like more information.
