Assistant Principal - Curriculum

Holiday Works
A wide range of works were undertaken throughout the school during (and the week preceding) the recent term break.
These included -
A wide range of plumbing works including sewer repairs and roof repairs
Synthetic turf repairs and maintenance
Shade sail repairs and maintenance
Steam cleaning of all classrooms
Planting of a native garden bed behind rooms 17-20
First Aid room flooring stripped and polished
A range of door repairs in the Wentworth building
After Hours Antisocial Behaviour
Unfortunately, daylight savings and an improvement in the weather has also brought a significant uptick in antisocial behaviour on our school grounds after hours. We are currently working with the Victorian School Building Authority to make further repairs to the skylight and ceiling damaged in the Foundation toilets during the holiday period. If you happen to witness any antisocial behaviour on our grounds (particularly individuals on rooftops), please contact the police directly on 000. The incident will be sent directly to Rowville Police who are well aware of the issues the school is facing regarding vandalism and antisocial behaviour.
Aussie Bird Count
If you are looking for a fun, family friendly activity to enjoy our longer days, you may be interested in taking part in the Aussie Bird Count. This activity may engage students interested in animals, nature and their local environment.
Birds are everywhere. In our backyards, balconies, local parks and schoolyards, and they have amazing stories to tell about the health of our environment. Right now, one in six Australian birds faces the threat of extinction, making it more important than ever to pay attention.
The Aussie Bird Count is a fun, easy way for all of us to take a national snapshot of the birds we see and start noticing the nature around us. With just 20 minutes, you can help build a picture of how our feathered friends are faring and contribute to something that really counts.
