Nine EVP teams will compete over six days against the nation's best, joining up to 6,000 students from across the country. We are proud to have such a broad representation from our EVP students across all areas of engaged schooling which truly demonstrates the culture of engaged learners the program has established.
This year has marked unprecedented success for the EVP, finishing 3rd overall in Queensland with 545/600 championship points - our best result ever among 184 competing schools. Our Indoor Schools Cup Honours Division campaign saw outstanding results, with Year 7 and 8 Boys claiming Queensland Championships, Year 8 Girls securing silver, and both Year 9 Girls and Year 10 Boys earning bronze medals.
The success continued at the Australian Beach Schools Cup, with multiple podium finishes including gold and silver for our 9/10 Girls 4s and 7/8 teams. The Queensland Beach Schools Cup added to our medal tally with impressive performances across all age groups.
As noted by one of our community members, "While their achievement on the court was remarkable, it was the moments of camaraderie, resilience, and support that stood out the most." Indeed, these achievements reflect more than medals - they represent the unwavering character and commitment that defines our program's excellence.
