Parent and Carer School Saving Bonus code distribution 

The School Saving Bonus will help families cover the cost of uniforms, textbooks, excursions, activities and more.

If you have multiple children enrolled in Victorian government schools for 2025, you will receive one School Saving Bonus code email per child. These emails might arrive on different days. Please make sure to check your spam/junk email folder.

If you have NOT received your School Saving Bonus code via email by Friday 29 November, please contact the Department of Education by emailing 

school.saving.bonus@education.vic.gov.au or calling on 1800 338 663.

Parents and carers can use the School Saving Bonus code in store at school-nominated suppliers. Parents and carers can also choose to access the School Saving Bonus online system, where they can allocate part or all the $400 bonus to use at school nominated-online suppliers or for school activities. Please click on the link below to see the instructional video which clearly shows how to use the Portal.   School Saving Bonus on Vimeo

At Vermont Secondary College there are only two suppliers you can use this for:

• Campion – Books   This video, along with FAQs, multilingual "how to order" flyers, and other helpful materials, is available here. 
• Bob Stewart - Uniforms

We have received hundreds of responses from families requesting to use their School Saving Bonus for the 2025 Year 7 Camp and 2025 Instrumental Music program.  Please be aware that we CANNOT ALLOCATE your SSB to any activities until you have logged on to the Portal and chosen “activities” as the area you wish the funds to be used.   For those who have done this, thank you 😊   Unfortunately we are unable to do this on your behalf.   

2025 CSEF

The CSEF application form and policy for 2025 is currently under review and the revised form and policy will be available soon.  A new CSEF application form has been created for Students over 16 years of age, who hold a valid means tested concession card.  Unfortunately, this delay will impact the SSR applications as well.

Farewell Andrea

The office staff would like to wish Andrea Hook (Office Manager) a fond farewell as she leaves to begin her retirement.  She will be missed.  

General Office Closure

The General Office will close from 4pm 19th December 2024 for the school holidays and will reopen on 9am 28th January 2024.

The General Office staff wish everyone a safe and happy break and look forward to seeing you in 2025.
