Term 4 Week 1 - 18th December 2024
And that is a wrap on Foundation 2024! We are beyond proud of the incredible growth, both personal and academic that every single student has achieved. They have all filled us with immense pride, and shown us how each and every one of them are absolute stars! We are very grateful to all of the foundation families for trusting us to guide, teach and learn from your child. We hope you have a restful, and joyous holiday break, and we look forward to seeing everyone’s happy, smiling faces next year!

Our Highlights of the year!
Myuna Farm visit:
We had a very successful first ever school excursion this year! The children loved sharing their adoration of animals with their peers and families. From milking goats, to patting lizards, this was truly an excursion to remember! The preps are very excited for many more school excursions to come!
100 Days of Prep:
What a great milestone this day was, reaching 100 days in Prep. The nannas of Prep LOVED the day and all the celebrations but definitely needed a cuppa when they returned home that afternoon! From aging booth photos, decorating biscuits, roaming activities with our families and dressing up as 100 year old it was definitely a day they will always remember!
Teddy Bear Sleepover:
This end of year activity was full of excitement and magic! The students were engaged in a number of teddy bear related learning activities, obviously joined by their soft toy friend! We had teddy bear picnics, we decorated teddy bear biscuits, we measured and sorted our teddies into groups, and of course, the sleepover. The children were a little bit nervous about leaving our teddies at school overnight, and so were the teddies! But with a beautiful home made sleeping bag and pillow, the Foundation superstars gave their teddies a good night kiss and cuddle, coming back to school the next morning to chaos and excitement! Our cheeky teddies had gotten into mischief. From eating Miss Cohen’s popcorn, to flying from the ceiling, the Preps truly loved the magic that they were welcomed to that morning.
Athletics Carnival:
Despite the rain it didn't dampen the spirits of the day. The trip on the bus just to get there was half of the fun. Each and every prep tried so hard and most importantly had fun and encouraged and cheered their friends on.
School swimming program:
At the beginning of the year, we embarked on our very first school swimming program. The students all learnt how to be safe around water and were able to show off their swimming skills! The free play day at the end of the program was of course a highlight, and many are asking for our next program!
