OUTGOING FAMILIES FOR 2024...
Each year, we present our outgoing families with a gift from the school. These are the families who will no longer have children at our school.
This year, we farewell Emily Valks and her family.
Sacred Heart has long been associated with Emily’s family, and many generations of the Devine family have attended our school—the first of the Devine cousins enrolled in 1978. Kylie was a student at Sacred Heart School, leaving Yr 6 in 1990. We have been blessed to have the Valks children also attend, with Digger commencing in 2013, Cameron in 2014 and Emily in 2017 when she started in our Transition Program. We have come to the end of an era, and we will miss you, Emily. Please know that you are welcome to call in at any time to say hello, and we hope that you enjoy the next phase of your educational journey.

Staff Awards...
During our Presentation Day, I was privileged to present the first two awards to Mrs Shelley Roseby on behalf of Armidale Catholic Schools.
The first award was in recognition of 10 years of service in Catholic Education in our Diocese. Thank you Mrs Roseby for all you have done and continue to do in our school communities and how you inspire our young people to create a hope-filled future.
The second award was presented for graduating from the BBI Cornerstones course. This course provides accreditation to teach Religious Education in our schools. Congratulations Mrs Roseby!

YEAR 6 FAREWELL
On Monday, December 2, we celebrated the Year 6 Farewell Dinner for our outgoing Year 6 students. The evening was held at the Boggabri RSL Club, where parents, family members, friends, and staff enjoyed celebrating our two students' graduation from primary school. Grace and Emily chose the theme 'Boots and Ballgowns'. Everyone in attendance looked fabulous, all dressed up in theme and had a wonderful evening.
We wish Grace and Emily all the best for their high school journey.
