Science and Engineering Challenge

10H students took part in the Science and Engineering Challenge hosted by La Trobe university on Monday 22nd July. The students took part in a variety of STEM activities earning points for their team. Our students did particularly well in the areas of code breaking, rotor design and the bridge building competition. Well done to all the students that participated!

Year 12 STEM Activity - Elephant's Toothpaste

Our STEM Captains organised yet another super fun STEM activity for the Year 12 cohort. Students were able to create their own 'Elephant's Toothpaste' by using an exothermic reaction to produce oxygen gas and a foam-like substance.
