Congratulations to all music students who performed at the Winter Concert series at the end of Term 2. The Junior Winter Concert and the Senior Winter Concert were held on Tuesday 25th June and Wednesday 26th June respectively, to an appreciative audience. 

The concerts saw all school-based ensembles perform as well as small groups and soloists. It was another fantastic opportunity for students to gain valuable performance experience. 

Term 3 is traditionally a very busy term and this year is certainly no different. The Victorian School Music Festival is on once again with all ensembles taking part. Students perform a short program, listen to other school bands perform and have an on-stage tutorial from one of the adjudicators. The Choir performed on Tuesday 6th August and had a very successful performance. Congratulations to all involved. We are looking forward to seeing all ensembles participate in what has become an important part of the school calendar. 

The Vocal Night and Jazz Night are also locked in this year.  Thanks to Ms. Sheppard and Mr. Marinucci for organising the events.  

The Wind Symphony is off to Ballarat to take part in the South Street Eisteddfod. This is always a very positive experience for all involved.  We wish the Wind Symphony well as they compete against the very best ensembles from all around the state.  

The term will finish with the Spring Concert, to be held on Tuesday 17th September at 7:30 pm at the Box Hill Town Hall. All ensembles will perform, with some soloist performances. Tickets will be available soon through Trybooking.
