Principal's Message

Dear Families,

Welcome to week 2 of term 3. Thank you to the community for the warm welcome. It has been great getting to know the students and their families and carers.

3-Way Conferences and Student Portfolios

This past Tuesday, we held our three-way teacher conferences, where students, families, and teachers came together to discuss student progress and achievements. The conferences were a great opportunity for students to share their work and for families to engage with their learning. It was clear that the students took pride in their accomplishments, and it was wonderful to see the support from their families and carers.

'National Tree Day for Schools'

Over the past week, we have been delighted to receive 30 native trees and over 300 seedlings after successfully applying for both Greater Wester Waters – Trees for Schools program and Hume Council's Seedlings for Schools program for 2024. A big thank you to both organizations for this amazing contribution and opportunity to help us improve our surrounding grounds at Kismet Park Primary School.

Our students will take part in our Whole School Planting as part of a special afternoon session to help us celebrate ‘National Tree Day for Schools’. A shout out to our school captains, whose video of giving expert tips on how to plant trees was invaluable.

Interschool Sport

Great work to our 5/6 Girls representing Kismet Park in division tee ball. They made it all the way to the grand final. Well done, girls! Max represented Kismet Park PS in State cross country. Well done to Max on a fantastic effort, especially through the wet and muddy conditions.

Wishing you all a great weekend.

Sam
