The 2022 Victorian Government Schools Agreement Page in the Staff Bulletin has been introduced to help staff understand the new agreement.  

Consultative Committee 

The next Consultative Committee Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 14 August 

 

2024 Members of the Consultation Committee:

  • Corinne Pupillo - Convenor
  • Stephanie Torchia   (Principal’s Nominee)
  • Juri Graco- Ilves  & Amanda Hollway (Teacher Rep x 2)
  • Mary Butros  (AEU - Teacher Rep)  
  • Irene Gacovski  - (AEU Rep ES) 
  • Irene Gacovski & Tanya Ascenzo- (Education Support Rep x 2) 
  • Michelle McMaster - (Admin/Therapy Rep)

Members may represent 2 workgroups, for example, be representative of both AEU and ES/teacher etc.

Nomination and voting by work groups takes place in February each year.

Members’ term on the committee extends for 12 months, from the beginning of March until the end of the following February.

Term 3 -  AEU Implementation 

AEU representative

• Work with the principal to finalise discussions about consultative arrangements to ensurethat the Department is notified of agreed consultative arrangements by September 1.

• Ensure the sub-branch is ready to start consultative committee discussions about the program, staffing and work arrangements toapply the following year.

• Monitor implementation of the long-term planning decisions, including the work load required of all school staff time in lieuarrangements and the workforce plan.

 

AEU consultative committee representative

• Work with the principal to finalise discussions about consultative arrangements to ensure the Department is notified of agreed consultative arrangements by September 1.

• Commence consultative committee discussions about the program, staffing and work arrangements to apply the following year.

• Work with the sub-branch reps to monitor thework and workload required of all school staffand bring relevant matters to the consultativecommittee for discussion.

 

Principal

• Work with the consultative committee to finalise consultative arrangements and ensure the Department is notified of agreed consultative arrangements by September 1.

• Commence consultative committeediscussions about the program, staffing and work arrangements to apply the followingyear.

• Monitor the implementation of the currentyear’s long-term planning decisions, including workload implications and the workforce plan.

• Provide long-term planning and workforceplanning information for the following year and provide indicative Student ResourcePackage (SRP) information.

• Contact staff on family leave to enable themto notify you by October 1 of their intention regarding returning to work in the followingyear.
