Canteen thank you

We would like to thank Mrs Rachel Simkin for the wonderful work she has done in our canteen; setting up Compass, developing the summer and winter menus and the morning tea options as well as the hours of researching the appropriate healthy foods to offer to our students inline with the National School Healthy Canteen Strategy. Rachel is now on leave and we welcome Michelle Cortis as our Canteen Supervisor until Rachel returns from Maternity leave part way through next year. Rachel, we wish you all the best as you and your family welcome your precious baby a little later in the year.

Dental Van: The Australian dental van will visit next week but at the point we do not have exact days.  Thank you to everyone who returned their notes when they were sent out weeks ago. 

Quirindi Outreach Program:  This is a respite service catering to people in the community with Dementia who provide a group activity program to help participants engage and enjoy community connection.  Our Y5/6 students have been invited to the hall to interact and participate in games and lunch on 3 different occasions.  We would like to thank Rebecca Wills for including us in this wonderful opportunity. 

Medical Information

We have been informed of a virus; Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV),  doing the rounds at the moment that is highly contagious. As always, if your child is unwell please keep them at home until they have fully recovered. 

Compass News

Mass Permissions:  We have a new event in Compass which will cover all of Semester 2, 2024  visits to the church, Masses as well as Mass practices.  Please go to Compass to give permission for your child to attend.  

PT&F Raffle Ticket Questionnaire:  Wow!  Thank you to everyone who jumped on to Compass within minutes of the SMS sent yesterday to complete this task.  If you haven't done so yet, please accept or decline the Raffle Ticket Questionnaire in Compass so we know if you are willing to receive raffle tickets from the PT&F.  Tickets for the raffle for Snow White will be sent home soon and we would like to know who will be able to support this lovely fundraiser.
