Cakes for a Cause
Prep and Year 6 ran a wonderful cake sale on Friday 30th May. Mrs Sim's office was full of delicious goodies and smelt like Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory! Thank you to all families and students who baked or bought goods for the stall. The response from the school was once again magnificent, with over $1900 raised. A special thanks to our parent helpers for supervising the sales in the afternoon and our supremely competent Year 6 volunteers for their organisation of each stall and sales ability. We loved seeing our students taking the lead on this event. Keep your eyes open next term, when we will have two more year levels run their cake stalls.
CSPS Disco
The CSPS disco is fast approaching - only one more week until the hall will be transformed for 'Lights! Camera! Disco!'. Have you bought your tickets yet? They are on sale now, so make sure you get in quickly. Our theme this year is black and white, and there will be a fantastic vibe if everyone comes dressed up.
Don't forget to send in a photograph of your child to the front office so that it can be printed in black and white and form part of the decorations. Remember, the picture should be only of your child and contain limited background. All photographs can be emailed to: caulfield.south.ps@education.vic.gov.au with the subject line 'Disco: [child's name] - [child's class]' e.g. Disco: Jack Smith - 5C.
Save the Date: Parents Trivia Night
The parent fundraiser this year is a trivia night, and it looks set to be amazing. Keep Saturday 9th August in your diaries and start thinking about who will be on your table. Details about venue, times and tickets will be available in the coming weeks.
