Meet our School Council

Lou Kuramoto - Vice President & Facilities Sub-Committee Member

Lou and her family joined the CSPS community in the unforgettable year of 2020, when eldest daughter Isabel started Prep—because what better time to start school than during a global pandemic? Despite the rocky beginning, the experience gave Lou a lasting appreciation for the incredible role teachers play in our kids’ lives. Since then, her youngest, Ash, also joined the fun in 2022, and both children (and their parents!) have found wonderful friends and connections within the school.

This is Lou’s third year on School Council, having previously served as Treasurer and Vice President—she’s back in the VP role again this year and ready to roll up her sleeves. Professionally, Lou is the Executive Officer of The Jack Brockhoff Foundation and sits on the board of the Mazda Foundation, where she puts her passion for strengthening communities and backing initiatives with lasting impact into action—values she brings wholeheartedly to her role on council.

When she’s not working or playing mum-taxi, you might find her at KX Pilates, power-walking with a true crime podcast in her ears, or enjoying a cheeky tequila-based cocktail in the sunshine. Lou is deeply committed to helping build a school environment we can all be proud of—one that’s well-resourced, where staff feel valued, families are connected, and students are given every chance to thrive.
