Student Achievement

We have had many sporting achievements lately, including success at the F-6 District Cross Country. 

 

Year 5 student Hosea Hadgu's family has written to us to help us celebrate Hosea and his performance in the recent cross country race!

Hosea worked very hard in preparation for the event and achieved a commendable result, which we are incredibly proud of. He has proudly represented Truganina P-9 College and came out 2nd at District level and 7th at Division level (one of the top twelve to make it to Regional level). Unfortunately Hosea won't be able to attend the next levels due to his upcoming Holiday leave.

 

Even though Hosea cannot participate in the next round, we have no doubt he would have made us all proud once again!

A massive well done to Daisy Tiomai from Year 9 for creating this spectacular art piece for our Pasifika Connect Forum last week. We are so impressed by your talent and are so fortunate to have shown off your hard work to our families

Join Australia's longest running financial education and matched savings program. Build financial skills, develop life-long savings habits, and receive up to $500 to assist with education costs.

This program could help you save and receive up to $500 AUD to ease the cost of education expenses.

 

How it works:

Step 1 - Goal

If eligible for the program, set a savings goal with your Coordinator for your education related item(s). Eligible savings goals listed here.

 

Step 2 - Saving

Open an ANZ Progress Saver account and start to regularly save over 10 months

 

Step 3 - Education

Complete our fun, relaxed, MoneyMinded financial education workshops. There’s no pressure – just practical, realistic money talk that supports you and your savings goal.

 

Step 4 - Matching

Reach savings goals and have your savings matched up to $500 by ANZ for education items for you or your children's education expenses

 

Who can apply

To be eligible for Saver Plus, you must have all of the following:

  • Have a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card AND an eligible Centrelink payment*
  • Be in school yourself OR have a child in school (can be starting school next year)
  • Have regular income from work (either yourself or your partner)*
  • Be 18+ years old
