Respect - Values Day

On Tuesday 20th May, the College celebrated another Values Day for the year.
This term, we focused on our College Value of Respect.
One student in each class was awarded a certificate for demonstrating the College Value of Respect for the year so far- congratulations to each and every student who won an award!
Students received tokens and positive chronicles throughout the day as they showed what incredible, respectful students they are!
We asked our students and staff four important questions about Respect:
- What words come to mind when you hear the word respect?
- Is respect the same thing as obedience?
- How does being respected make you feel?
- How does showing respect help you later in life?
A snapshot of some of the members of the Wellbeing SIT team. Thank you for all your
hard work and preparation to make the day a success!
We can’t wait to celebrate our next Values Day in Term 3 where we will be celebrating and thinking about how to demonstrate the College Value of Responsible.
