Men n Minors Camp

Our much-loved Men ‘n’ Minors Camp was once again a standout success, with perfect weather and a record 342 attendees registered for the event – making the most of this special time together.

Students and their dads, granddads, or significant male mentors enjoyed an action-packed weekend filled with archery, rubber axe throwing, rock climbing, flying fox rides, damper making, pushcart racing, and much more.

A special thank you to Anthony and the Salisbury SES team for their impressive and engaging demonstration – including the "rescue" of one of our dads! – which had the crowd captivated from start to finish.

Heartfelt thank you to our dedicated MnM committee for bringing this beloved annual tradition to life once again. This event continues to be a cherished highlight in the life of our Good Shepherd community.

Survey

To ensure its ongoing success, we are kindly asking camp attendees to complete the following survey and share their feedback - Thank you.

From the MnM Committee

The organising committee would like to thank the families that attended for leaving the campsite tidy as there was very little rubbish left to pick up.

There has been at least one family who have lost a 2-way radio. Everyone who brought radios with them to camp is encouraged to check their supplies to see if they accidentally took home an extra. If you do find that you have an extra radio, please check the "Parents of Good Shepherd" Facebook page to find the owner. The same goes for any other supplies that have accidentally made it home with the wrong family. Thank you

Anti-Bullying Rapid Review

The Australian Government recently announced an Anti-Bullying Rapid Review. The Review will look at current approaches to addressing bullying in schools, what is working and what needs strengthening, with the aim of providing options for the development of a consistent national standard for responding to bullying and its underlying causes in schools.

The Review is now accepting submissions.

The Review co-chairs, Dr Charlotte Keating and Dr Jo Robinson AM, are seeking views from students, parents, teachers, and those involved in school education across the country. Submissions can be made anonymously if preferred.

To provide feedback through the submission process, please visit the link below. The link will take you to instructions on how to participate, along with the Review’s Terms of Reference.
