Waterford Mile

Founders Day saw the 29th Annual Waterford Mile. Thank you to all the boys who competed, thank you to Mr Locke and Mrs Simms for the organisation and running of the event. Huge congratulations to Jack Taylor, who took on many spirited competitors, to be named the 2025 Waterford Mile Winner!

Diving

Huge congratulations are in order for Vincent Pappalardo! Vincent competed in the NSW All Schools Diving Championships on Thursday 22 - Friday 23 May. He achieved gold in the 15 Years Boys Springboard and bronze in the 15-16 Years Boys Platform. He has been selected to represent NSW for both events for SSA Diving Championship in Brisbane from 27 July to 1 August. Well done, Vincent, we are all very proud of you.

Football

After two successful matches in less than 24 hours, the First XI are through to the Semifinals of the CIS Cup. They will now take on Newington College tonight at 6:00 PM at Valentine Sports Park, Glenwood.

All are welcome to come down and support the boys. Full school uniform or St Patrick's sports tracksuit and Supporters' polo must be worn.

Rugby

Last Monday and Tuesday, a number of U16 and Opens SPC Rugby players attended the ISA Representative Rugby team trials. I would like to congratulate Hamish Malone, Oscar Dillon, Ayden Bova and James Stewart on being selected for the U16 Squad as well as James Kelly for being selected in the opens squad. Well done and best of luck!

Athletic Carnival

A reminder that Thursday 19 June is the College House Athletics Carnival. Any boy absent must provide a medical certificate.
