Attendance

Attendance Party Leaderboard!

Prep B and 5/6A had the BEST TIME in the PAC watching a movie and enjoying a DOUGHNUT as Attendance Champions for Term 1!

As we hit the mid-point of term 2, I wanted to give an update for the current front-runners for the attendance party for Term 2! Remember, the aim is for the class to have an average attendance over 95% as research suggests an attendance rate over 95% is optimal for student learning and wellbeing.

Term 2 Attendance Update

Congratulations to the Year 6 cohort for leading the school attendance this term. They are setting a wonderful example for the rest of the school to follow!

A school goal we have is to "grow the green" which is to increase the amount of students attending over 95% of school days. Below you can see I've attached a little graph for that metric which I'm sure you'll agree is very pleasing to see!

(light green (52%) is above 95, dark green is 90-95 (22%), next lightest green - I'm sure there's a better name for it - is 80-90% which is 17% of students. 8% of our kids are below 80% compared with 10% least year). But a massive increase in the "green" so well done everyone, keep it up!

ATTENDANCE AWARDS

Keep an eye out for our snazzy new Attendance Awards! Students may receive one of these if they have excellent attendance or have been improving their attendance!
