Grade 3 News

Congratulations to all the Grade 3’s who ran and walked the laps of the fun run.
We are so proud of their fundraising efforts, positive attitude and sportsmanship skills on the day.
During Maths last week, the Grade 3’s strengthened their knowledge of multiples with the creation of number patterns. Looking at multiplies of 2s, 5s and 10s. Students can continue to practice doubling and halving numbers at home.

The students have finished reading ‘Yirra and her Deadly Dog, Demon’ and are pleased to discover that Demon was not given away and she was allowed to go on the excursion to Bare Island.
We will move on to our next book ‘Finding our Heart’ by Thomas Mayo.
Religion has seen the students learning about the fruits and gifts of the holy spirit and how these are exemplified by leaders of the catholic church.
We learnt about Mother Teresa and Pope Fracis.
