Grade 1 News

Well done to all of our Grade One students who ran so well in the Fun Run on Friday. 

It was a great day for all!

In Maths, students have been learning about Capacity. 

They took part in a fun and engaging activity where they created their own milkshakes, using terms such as full, half full, and empty to describe different amounts. 

It was a wonderful creative way to explore these concepts!

In Literacy, we’ve been focusing on adjectives and how we can make our writing more interesting. 

Students have really embraced creative writing, and it’s been wonderful to see the imaginative stories they’ve come up with.

In Religion, we’ve continued our work on Pentecost, learning about the meaning of the event and its importance. 

This week, we are beginning our new unit on Baptism, and students are looking forward to discovering more about this special sacrament.
