Extending Mathematical Understanding - Intervention Support

June progress testing has seen 8 more students achieve their growth point targets. Parents of these students will receive an individual letter at the same time as reports are released. 

There will be 16 students continuing in Term 3. And places for 8 more to be offered places. Teachers will look closely at reports to select student to be included, parents will be notified by letter. 

Mathemagicians

The next day for Mathemagicians will be held this Thursday 26th June. The topic we will be exploring is 'Mathematics Everywhere!' The Year 1 and 2 students will explore inside spaces in the school. The year 3 and 4 students will investigate outside spaces around the school. Year 5 and 6 students will analyse places beyond the school.

 Their findings will be shared next issue!

MiniLit Sage and MacqLit Literacy Intervention - Fiona Robinson

As the term ends, it is time to reflect upon the progress that the students have made in MiniLit Sage and MacqLit. Over the next week, all participants will be assessed and the results will be shared with families when Semester One Reports are released.

Thank you to the families who have supported their children at home, reading the decodable texts to support the acquisition of language skills. 

At the end of Term Two, potential candidates, for Semester Two, will be screened and letters will go home to parents at the beginning of Term Three with further information.
